Substantive Change

���������� must either notify the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) about and/or secure SACSCOC approval for substantive changes. SACSCOC defines substantive change as “a significant modification or expansion of the nature and scope of an accredited institution.”  ���������� utilizes this as a tool in the substantive change procedure to determine whether a program change is substantive and represents a significant modification or expansion as defined by SACSCOC.  This ���������� procedure supports the (ACAF 2.11).
