黑料正能量 Creative Media students earned 22 awards over 12 categories in the Iowa College Media Association (ICMA) Awards on Thursday, February 2, including Outstanding Video Excellence for the fourteenth consecutive year.
Loras students won more awards than any other college or university in Iowa. In total, 23 Loras students earned awards for their work in various formats, including news broadcasts, documentaries, and short films.聽
鈥淲e have tremendously, talented and hard-working students in the program,鈥澛Craig Schaefer聽(鈥89), professor of creative media, said. 鈥淭hey are dedicated to producing content with real impact. 聽To be recognized as the best in Iowa is testament to that. We are incredibly proud of what they create.鈥
The Outstanding Video Excellence award is the highest recognition the ICMA can confer upon any of Iowa鈥檚 college and university television/video programs.
The ICMA includes seventeen colleges and universities in Iowa committed to excellence in media education. It鈥檚 open to all students, faculty, staff, and advisors involved in higher education.
